Frog Card Evolution!

Frog Card Evolution!

Hey there Make Shoppers! As you all know, Father’s Day is this Sunday June 17th. Do you have a card ready for Dad? Well no worries because I’ll be sharing my Father’s Day card ideas with you!
As you can see in the featured picture all you need is some colored card stock and some basic punches to get things started. Try using your imagination to create certain shapes. For example, for the body of my frog I used a round circle, a heart shape punch for the legs and a maple leaf punch for the frog feet. Also, don’t worry about being too perfect…your card should have a handcrafted feel to it that Dad will love!
I would absolutely love to see your beautiful creations out there. So if you’ve made this card, email me a picture, PLEASE!  tutusmakeshoppe@gmail.com

Cute as a Button

Cute as a Button

Howdy crafters! As you already know, baby showers and new beginnings are amongst us and creating that perfect hand-crafted card means so much to the mother to be.
So, I couldn’t wait any longer to share this cute baby card design and technique with you.
In this post, I would like to point out a few easy techniques when card designing.

#1 Wheel buttons- you can get these from an old shirt.
#2 Large circle punches- use various sizes for creating the stroller bassinet and baby face.
#3 Real cosmetic blush- applied with q-tip for the cheek color on the baby face…cuteness overload!

The Paw Print Pussycat

Well crafters, whenever there is a project goof you just might be able to turn it into something wonderful.
Meet Heloise; I’ve nicknamed her “the card making cat.”

I’m innocent…

Today in the Make Shoppe she decided to play “step in the ink,” and then walked all over my card stock papers.  How did she know she was creating something so beautiful?
I realized I could make a greeting card out of this, and then I imagined what a cute Father’s Day card it could be!

To the Greatest “PAW” in the World…

From me (and Heloise) to you…
